Get the full project documents

Ask your organizer for the participant authorization letter and any applicable data-processing terms for your assignment, in a language you understand. They should identify the responsible organizations and the contact for privacy requests. This page is a preparation guide; it does not replace those documents or collect consent.

Understand what you are authorizing

1. The data involved

   Confirm which voice recordings, voice-related information, and participant details will be collected. Ask separately how any identity verification is handled; do not send identity documents through this download page.

2. The purposes and recipients

   Read the exact permitted uses. Project terms may cover speech recognition or speech synthesis datasets, AI model training and evaluation, and commercial uses. Confirm who receives the data and whether it may be transferred internationally.

3. Retention, payment, and rights

   Check the retention terms, payment arrangements, rights granted over recordings, and how requests for access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal are handled. Ask what withdrawal means for data already processed.

4. Guardian involvement

   If the participant is under 18, ask the organizer to arrange the required parent or legal guardian consent and signatures before any recording.

Keep a copy and confirm the recipient

Keep a copy of your completed agreement and the organizer’s contact details. When exporting audio, check that your ZIP and spreadsheet are going to the designated project recipient. The app’s quality checks do not replace the agreement or guarantee project acceptance.
